Well in twelve hours I will standing at the spot that I last saw my love and soulmate alive and gone in a split of seconds, It will take my breath and probably be the hardest thing I have faced so far but it is another step in this journey so I will stand tall and do it with all my strength I have. It was a horrible day and I will never get the answers I ask for everyday but I will continue for Derek to get up everyday and put one foot in front of the other no matter how hard it is just like he taught me. Live life like there is no tomorrow and I advise everyone to stop and appreciate and slow life down more to love and hold on to the people around you because you never know when the best thing can be ripped away. So for Derek please stop and love your spouse and kids hard and stronger everyday like he did. I so miss him even down to his little ways he would try to aggravate me, never thought I would miss that but wow what I would give!!!
I love you Derek, you are still and always my heart and soul!!

Derek's Birthday

We worked hard and made the best day for Derek. We went to the farm and let balloons off with notes. The boys were good and said the balloons didn't pop and they know daddy got them!!! That was the best thing of the day!!!!! We saw them for a long distance also!! Thanks to Lonny and Kim for letting us come out.

Good Weekend

Couldn't have asked for a better weekend. Sleepover at the Buckner's on Friday night after steaks on the grill and sitting by the fire. Then Saturday laid Around in the recliner and visited with a few friends that stopped by and then headed to the farm for dinner and another sleepover at the farm. Maddie, Ethan and I are sitting watching a movie while the rest including Garret are painting the fence. It was a very nice weekend, just still very tired from the two weeks in the hospital. Love u all!

Home Sweet Home

Doctor's came in very early this morning so I could come home to my boys. It has been a long couple weeks and sorry I haven't been keeping people up to date but it was a rough run and I really do not remember it all when I was major sick after surgery. Had 87/41 blood pressure amd Hemo 5.6 and 4 more pints of Blood. Thanks to everyone who was sending prayers and checking on me, it helps so much. Plan for now is to hit PT some with walking but no lifting more the. 10-15 lbs due to bladder surgery. We are working on a To Do List for the house so anyone who is willing to help please let me know and drop me a text. I will probably pick a Saturday coming up soon and there is just some odds and ins that need done and we will also try to do a roadside memorial for Derek on the same day so I will keep everyone posted..
Boys are doing great, having fun with family and friends! Tonight is game night and pizza with mom!!!

Well I am here and breathing that's to all the prayers and great doctors. Sorry I couldn't see anybody during this restricted time but my blood and heart rate was a mess so it was a I lot of scary these past few days. I am feeling better and have authorized some visitors now if anyone would like to stop but I can't over do it.
The boys are off enjoying the pumpkins at Huber's with the Harshfield's and the Boone's. They are having a great time and can't wait to see them tomorrow!!!!

Day Of Surgery, October 5,2011

I am very sore from everything they did to me, but it will heal in time. Now to healed and PT which will take some time since these had to cut and the bladder was attaching to the pelvic bone. Keep up the prayers!!
